Acoustics & Interiors, Inc. is an acoustical contractor in Northern Colorado specializing in acoustical ceilings and acoustical wall panels. Founded in 1983, Acoustics & Interiors, Inc. quickly gained a reputation for quality work and dedication to its customers.

After over 30 years in business, Acoustics & Interiors, Inc. has proven that the key to success is satisfied customers.     • On August 18, Acoustics & Interiors celebrated its 30th year in business.

    • Rick West marks 25 years with the company and still going.
    • Neenan projects included multiple school projects; MEC/MESA, Skyview/Clayton, Monte Vista High and North Valley Young Adult Center.

    • $400,000 project in Cheyenne, WY was completed for FCI Constructors.

     

    Alamosa K-2 & 3-5 Schools

    • The Neenan Company selected us for the $400,000 acoustical work on two elementary schools built simultaneously in Alamosa, CO.

    • $2.7 million in sales for 2007 included Leeds School of Business CU for Pinkard Construction and Police Services Fort Collins for The Neenan Company.

    • Schools represent a significant part of our work each year such as this Middle School in Aurora for Adolfson & Peterson and the CU Atmospheric Research for Gerald H. Phipps.

    • 14 Floor, 90,000 SF renovation of Minoru Yasui Building in Denver was completed for Pinkard Construction.
    • Medical office buildings and school renovations including the renovation of the 1916 Big Thompson Elementary for the Neenan Company were a big part of the year.
    • John McClard reached 10 years of service in the field.

    • Acoustics & Interiors, Inc. relocates office to 1414 Blue Spruce, Unit E Fort Collins, CO 80524.
    • August 18 marks A&I’s 20th Anniversary.

    • $280,000 P V Hospital “k” completed with Mortenson.
    • Our warehouse was relocated to 1414 Blue Spruce.
    • Rick West marked 15 years service with A&I.
    • Greg Stoll and Kevin Stafford completed 10.

    • Neenan projects i.e. $203k Con Agra Office & 10k s.f. of Tectum panels @ New Belgium brought sales to $1.6 mil.
    • Gary St. Clair’s 10th anniversary with A&I (10 years 1991 – 2001 … + 2 years in 1984 & 1985).

    • $100k of ceilings are completed on the Ross Hall Building U of N Colorado campus. Adolfson & Peterson – GC.

    • Contracts with The Neenan Company approach $600 K.
    • A&I provided 96,000 s.f. of ceilings on the GSA Natural Resource Building for Phipps Inc.

    • The 146,000 sf CSU Morgan Library completed, flood – waters fill the 11′ basement, destroying 1/3 of the project.
    • Working with Phipps Inc, A&I reinstalled the Morgan ceilings. In the area, specialists restored thousands of books.

    • G.H. Phipps Inc. & The Neenan Company provided 25% of 1997’s $1.8 million in sales.
    • Quality kept us as the prefered company for Agilent’s clean room ceiling projects for Heath Construction – GC.

    • An upcoming building moratorium in Boulder spurred last minute office building boom with Quinlan Const.
    • School additions and remodels in eastern Colorado brought FCI Constructors to our #2 customer in sales for the year.

    • A&I traveled 600 miles south to Roswell, NM to work for Thissen Construction on the Leprino Food Plant.
    • 76,000 sf Columbine High School Additon / Renovation completed with the Weitz Company.

    • Medical projects i.e. Kaiser with Adolfson & Peterson & PVH with Phelps, continued to be a large part of business.
    • Super Kmart ceilings in Sales Area alone exceeded 120k sf each on projects installed in Greeley & Denver.

    • Acoustics & Interiors, Inc.’s office was moved to 1905 Lorraine Dr, Fort Collins.
    • Warehouse was relocated to 1630 Riverside, Fort Collins.

    • Hewlett Packard Remodel in Fort Collins for Sinnett Builders was completed.
    • HP Remodel spanned 1-1/2 years, was performed on weekend nights, and ceilings totaled $407,000.

    • Ceilings were installed at Monfort (Con Agra) plants in Greeley CO, Yuma CO, and Topeka KS.
    • Relationships with customers i.e. Drahota Const., Heath Const., Sinnett Builders…provided the bulk of our business.

    • Sheridan Memorial Hospital Addition / Remodel in Sheridan, WY finished with Morgen Oswood.
    • The Sheridan remodel was completed 3 Patient Rooms at a time. A 750 mi. round trip took longer than the work.

    • 1st full years sales totaled $143,219.
    • Mountain Bell Remodel provided the years largest contract at $44,500.

    • 1 used scaffold, a pair of stilts, and a water level was the companies first purchases.
